Since its establishment, it has been carrying out activities aimed at teaching Turkish as a foreign language, promoting Turkish culture on international platforms, and developing the language proficiency of international students studying at Giresun University.

GRÜ TÖMER offers Turkish language instruction programs at the A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1 levels in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) standards. In addition to its educational activities, the center contributes to students’ adaptation to the university and the city by organizing Turkish Proficiency Exams (TYS), academic Turkish courses, orientation programs, and social and cultural events.
With its qualified academic staff, modern teaching environment, and extensive resource infrastructure, our center is steadfastly continuing its efforts to promote Turkish as a global language and support our university’s vision of internationalization.
