Those wishing to obtain a student visa from abroad must first contact our university’s International Student Office (Address: Giresun University, Güre Campus, Faculty of Science and Letters, Ground Floor, Center/Giresun; Phone: +90 454 310 18 38; Email: fso@giresun.edu.tr).  Following the instructions provided by this office, they must deposit 500 TL into the bank account number provided to them and request a Letter of Acceptance. With the Letter of Acceptance sent to them by GRÜ TÖMER, they apply for a student visa at the Turkish Embassy in their country of residence. Those wishing to enroll in Turkish language courses may also obtain their Acceptance Certificates from any GRÜ TÖMER branch through relatives residing in Turkey. Once participants have obtained their visas, the 500 TL they paid for the Acceptance Certificate will be deducted from the course fee when they register at GRÜ TÖMER (Address: Giresun University Faculty of Science and Letters, Güre Campus, Center / GİRESUN) to begin their studies.

After enrolling in GRÜ TÖMER Turkish language courses, you can apply for a residence permit at the Provincial Police Department in your city using the Student Certificate you receive from the Student Affairs Office. You may obtain a residence permit in 6-month increments for as long as you continue attending the Turkish language courses.
